The Internal communication as a basis for strengthening organizational culture: a case study of the Mexican Chamber of the Construction Industry, Guerrero Delegation

In this article, the findings obtained through the research entitled: Internal communication strategies as a basis for strengthening the organizational culture are presented; a case study of the Cámara Mexicana de la Industria de la Construcción (CMIC), Delegación, Guerrero; which, had as its main objective, to design internal communication strategies that contribute to the strengthening of its organizational culture. This research was carried out with a methodology under the qualitative approach, applying the case study method and the use of techniques such as the semi-structured interview, the qualitative survey and participant observation, typical of this approach for the collection of information. Among the main results derived from this research, it is highlighted that the CMIC does not adequately manage its internal communication and consequently its organizational culture is affected, in addition, it is evident with the weaknesses found, a series of elements of internal communication that they can be adequately managed through strategic actions that will result in a positive impact on the organization. The investigation ends with the design of a proposal for internal communication strategies to strengthen the organizational culture of the chamber to improve teamwork, increase productivity, integrate employees and optimize corporate results; in this way, it is affirmed that a well-managed internal organizational communication is synonymous with multiple benefits that result in a more solid organizational culture.
