This paper addresses the description from the physical-natural point of view of the four biogeographic provinces of the state of Guerrero, Mexico; with the natural components of climate, geology, soils, vegetation and basins, as well as the spatial representation in maps from Geographic Information Systems (GIS). In turn, the surfaces that predominate most for the natural components of soils and vegetation are also shown, as well as for the basins within each biogeographic province. At the same time, it allowed to establish from the quantitative point of view which are the provinces that present greater surfaces, highlighting in this case the provinces Sierra Madre del Sur and depression del Balsas.
