Open Access Statement as defined by DOAJ
“Open Access” is a general term encompassing both Free and Open Access. For DOAJ, open access is defined only when digital content is freely available online and user rights and copyright terms are clearly defined.
In accordance with copyright law, Tlamati recognizes and respects authors’ moral rights, as well as their ownership of the economic rights, which are assigned to the journal for open access dissemination. Tlamati does not charge authors for submitting or processing articles for publication.
All texts published by Tlamati—without exception—are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.
Authors may enter into separate, additional contractual agreements for the non-exclusive distribution of the version of their article published in Tlamati (e.g., including it in an institutional repository or publishing it in a book), provided they clearly indicate that the work was first published in Tlamati.
Therefore, authors must sign an authorization letter whereby they retain copyright but guarantee the rights of first publication of their articles via email to the journal Tlamati.
Partial reproductions of articles are permitted provided that intellectual property rights are respected by following proper citation guidelines.
Total reproduction of the journal Tlamati is strictly prohibited without prior authorization from the editors.
