Authors who choose to deposit the published version in Zenodo must comply with the following conditions:

- Deposit Metadata: Include at least the following: article title, authors' full names, institutional affiliation, ORCID, article DOI, journal ISSN, volume, issue number, page numbers, and year of publication.

Specific Conditions for GitHub

Authors may use GitHub for self-archiving:

- The published version in plain text or Markdown format (not the formatted PDF, to respect editorial integrity).

- Supplementary materials: research data, analysis scripts, high-resolution figures, supplements, etc.

- Include a README.md file in the GitHub repository containing:

- The full citation of the article.

- The DOI of the original article.

- The link to the article on the journal's website.

- Explicit mention of the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license.

GitHub – Zenodo Integration

The journal recommends that authors use the native integration between GitHub and Zenodo to:

Connect your GitHub repository to your Zenodo account.

Configure automatic archiving of each GitHub release in Zenodo.

Obtain a DOI for each version of the repository (including supplementary materials).

Cite the repository in the main article.

Suggested procedure:

- Create a repository in GitHub for the article's supplementary materials.

- Configure the integration with Zenodo (Settings > Zenodo).

- Release the repository.

- Zenodo will assign a DOI and permanently preserve the content.

- Include this DOI in the "Supplementary Material" or "Research Data" section of the article.
