Statement of ethics and good practices
Editorial Team
The editorial team is responsible for the decision to publish or not publish submitted articles in the journal. These articles are reviewed without regard to the authors' race, sex, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, country of origin, citizenship, or political affiliation.
The editorial team publishes updated guidelines on author responsibilities and the characteristics of submitted works, as well as information on the peer-review system used to select articles and the evaluation criteria that external reviewers must apply.
The editorial team is committed to publishing any necessary corrections, clarifications, and apologies when deemed appropriate, and to not using submitted articles for its own research without the authors' consent.
The editorial team guarantees the confidentiality of the evaluation process, which includes the anonymity of reviewers and authors, the content being evaluated, the reviewers' report, and any other communications from the committees (editorial, advisory, and scientific). Furthermore, it will maintain confidentiality regarding any clarifications, claims, or complaints that an author may wish to send to the journal's committees or article reviewers.
It declares its commitment to respecting and upholding the integrity of previously published works.
It is especially strict regarding plagiarism: texts identified as plagiarized will be removed from the journal or will not be published. The journal will act as quickly as possible in these cases.
It will handle these processes with fairness, courtesy, objectivity, and honesty.
In similar situations, a decision is expected to be made in the same manner, without showing favoritism or bias in the treatment, whether due to intellectual proximity, familiarity, or other factors, and maintaining a respectful approach.
It will make decisions and respond to authors' questions in a timely manner. Time must always be allocated to answer inquiries promptly, without making an author wait longer than strictly necessary to consult with their team regarding the background of a topic.
Establish and enforce a policy regarding conflicts of interest for authors, editors, and reviewers. These conflicts can be of various kinds, but whether they stem from political, religious, economic, professional jealousy, or other motives, they must be addressed equitably.
Authors
Are responsible for the content of their submission.
Agree to inform the journal's editors if they detect a significant error in one of their published articles so that appropriate corrections can be made.
Guarantee that the article and associated materials are original and do not infringe on the copyrights of third parties. In the case of co-authorship, they must demonstrate that all affected authors have consented to the publication of the final version of the article in Tlamati | Academic Journal.
Reviewers
Agree to conduct an objective, informed, critical, constructive, and impartial review of the article. Acceptance or rejection is based solely on the relevance, originality, and interest of the work, as well as its adherence to the style and content guidelines outlined in the editorial criteria.
Submitters must adhere to the established deadlines (if this is not possible, they must notify the journal's editorial board well in advance).
Submitters may not share, disseminate, or use the information contained in articles submitted for review without the appropriate permission from the editor and/or the authors.
